Hello, post here on what languages you love and hate, and give reasons why. Please, DO NOT start a flame war. This is just for fun. I love: Python - It's easy to use and has lot of guides and tutorials, and it's also very powerful. I hate: All .NET Languages - The .NET framework is pitty to me; I dislike .NET because it takes up a lot of space, and the .NET framework takes long to install. Also, it's made by Microsoft! Pfft!

ITS OVER 3000!!!!

Python 3.0, or jokingly called Python 3000, or Py3k is the newer version of Python. It is a good version, only bad things about it, is that it is really new. There is no libraries(which I am helping make some) and no one uses it right now because of it. But if you look at the code for both python 2.x and 3.x you can see that 3 is alot more simpler, and is more Pythonish than 2. This topic was created to enlighten, please no flamming.

My only experience in game programming is from Visual Studio C# using the XNA Gamestudio, but I'm trying to figure how do I get a "draw" method while I study C++. Hello, I've thinking C++ is used by one of the largest computer companies in the world why not make it a standard in programming although it is a little complex until you get into it. The language is object oriented by option so you have more choice in the matter and I think it might improve the portability of programs. "Please post your answer speak your mind."

Your opinion on Object Oriented Programming

Hello, I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion on OOP is. I think OOP is a really good style of programming, because it gives structure and order to your large programs. What I don't like about is it is generally a bit harder then structured programming, but it is well worth it when you have a large program to create. What is your opinion?
