What got you interested?

Hello CodeGreen members,
what go you interested in programming?
Why did you start programming, what got you into it?

Programming is a very awesome experience,
but what got you programming in the first place?

I originally got into programming through gaming.

I wanted to create awesome games,
and starting using Game Maker.

Then I went through tons of languages,
and eventually got all this history and knowledge,
and am interested in other fields.

Heh, now this topic, I can write a whole story for, lol, but I will just tell you the basics. I basically started because there was something that has always existed with me and technology, like, something making me want to mess with it, and make it better than what it existed. So, I got my mom to buy me a Java book, in 2006(it was a 2004 book) and worked my way with it without a computer. Then when I got a computer, I actually got alot farther in the book, and relised that Java was ok, but I did not like all the syntax, so I went and looked for a new language on the internet, and now I want to learn all of the languages out there, and program as much as possible, heh. For anyone who actually knows me, I am working on a game, and I am using that, to really learn all I can about programming, since with the language I choose, I have to basically make everthing for.
